I have watched the show today on the 11th march 2010, and i feel as though as a country it is sick to find out that there is nothing more the justice system can do to make Ian Brady talk. I watched with sadness and the look of the mothers face just told what it he and Myra have taken from this lady. I am going through the process of trying to put someone in jail for this person had put me through as a child and now as an adult. It is a wonder why we don't have any vigilates in this country. I think that as Ian Brady has been found guilty for the crimes that he has commited he should be made to tell the authorities using other methods to put that child at rest.

Ian Brady is clinically insane and I don't really think that any means to extract the truth from him would work.  I don't even know if he knows the truth from the lies anymore.  If he has been faking mental illness all these years the pleasure he will get from knowing the truth and keeping it to himself will no doubt be a secret he takes to the grave.  I really feel for the victims and the victims families of crime but as a society we cannot resort to barbaric acts to get to the truth no matter how torturous it can be be to never know the truth.  Ian Brady is a truely evil man and while he has a hold over people he will keep that because it could be all that is keeping him going.

How many people who commit crimes claim that they are clinically insane, was that the same for Myra Hindley they both premiditaed these murders and got gratification out of it as well. Quite recently there was a serial killer in Canada that killed around 28 women that they could he killed and grinded there bodies up in his farm as he owned a pig farm, and the poeple of where he sold his produce to had contamination of human flesh within the produce of meat that was bought. This man has also claimed he is clinically insane. i believe a system should be brought in for these cases that extract the truth from these individuals or capital punishment should make a comeback.
