June 16th Show Who is the baby's real father?

I watched this particular show regarding the disputed paternity of a six month old baby. Gary came onto the show and claimed he was the father. His partner was unsure if he was.

I would like an explanation, if possible, regarding an incident that took place prior to the broadcast of this show.

Jeremy told the audience that he had put Gary up in a hotel prior to the programme going out on air. He informed the audience that during his stay at the hotel, Gary had met a woman and then slept with her that night. Jeremy referred to the woman as a prostitute but Gary said he didn't pay for her sexual favours. Jeremy's line of questioning was very direct. It came across as if he had prior knowledge of what had happened that night. The conversation certainly compromised Gary's argument that he was a loving father.

I would like to be reassured by the producers of the programme that Gary was not deliberately set up with a prostitute in order to spice up the show.
