Alcohol abuse 25.11.10

I saw the young guy on the show today (Shane?):
I want to tell him that my dad died from alcohol abuse. He damaged his liver in the same way that this guy has done, he was on cider too - started with cans of beer/nights out - exactly the same. My dad was found dead on a bus, by a cleaner. He had become ill on the night bus, and fell behind a seat. The bus was left in the gararge over night, and my dad died slowly, alone and in agony. He left behind 3 children, who will never be able to recover from the fact that he killed himself slowly, and painfully. He was only in his forties.
Please, please, please - don't leave your kids without a father - booze won't love you back; it can't wrap it's arms around you, it can't make you proud of it's achievements, and it won't mourn you when you're gone. If one person reads this, and turns their life around - my dad's death wont be in vain.

I am very disgusted with Jeremy Kyle and how he treats people with drink problems this is an illness, I watch how he makes certain people who are genuine feel.  I lost my brother in september 2010 to the same illness and he never treated anyone bad, he worked so did not get it from any of us and Jeremy Kyle states. He will never understand how devastated we all are and never get over our loss.  But it frustrated me to watch him treat people how he does and should remember there are some people with drink problems who are not bad and it is a illness which may be caused by many reasons. I was hurt and upset by his comments and think he should have more tact when he discuss certain matters and yes i know its a tv show but its real life out there, I will not watch his show anymore due to his manner and comments he makes.
