My friend Laura is very angry all of the time, and even though my friends Sarah, Gialinh and me only have her during art lessons, her behaviour is very upsetting, we just don't know what to do with her. She's just so aggressive, even towards our teacher, Miss Denhart. We're all eighteen (ish) and i wanted to know if everyone thought this was just a teenage phase, or should we be worried for her?

Thanks for any advice, Ellie

Hi Ellie, I think you do have a cause for concern and its really good to know that your friend has people looking out for her.

I would take into consideration a few possible causes like

The obvious initially:-

Alcohol and ' or drugs

But could there also be other issues like

problems at home

Bullying at school / college or in her private life

Is there anything else that could be placing stress on her like someone being a negative influence.

When did you notice any change in her behaviour.

Anger management could be an answer, but if done correctly, anger management can in flame anger as the person may haveto face a specific problem or problems.

I'm not convinced its a teenage issue, it could be she has a problem but does not know how to deal with it, but its good to know she has friends that are prepared to help her out and I give you every credit for that, a good friend are really worth their weight in gold.

I hope this brief reply helps a little, but please ask more if you think we can assist any further.
