I'd like to fine my mum but I dont know how

Alot of people have never meet their fathers but in my case its different, I want to find my mother. Her and my dad split when I was only a baby and I havent had any contact with her since. Ive only seen her once on the street and nothing else after that. Im thinking about looking for her because I want some questions answering but Im not sure how I go about doing it. What do you suggest I do?
