My daughter is now twelve years old,i left her father when she was two years old.We moved back to Scotland.I had postnatal depression for about a year after my daughter was born, but at the time i did not know that!I did not have any of my own family around me because i was in England with my partner . As soon as my daughter was born i was so thrilled and happy!!,but my partner whent from excited to unhappy when the doctor announced it's a girl!!Then he sat an stared at our daughter, the first thing he said to her was She looks like your mum!(he did not get on with my mum)When he left i was in tears. When i got my daughter home,he would say to her ,wheres my boy.The only times he held her was for photographs. The ralationship went sour and i felt he did not want us.I felt he found me repulsive,he would tease me by saying, shelly is a man she thought she was a woman! I am an attrative woman!why did he treat me with such coldness. After two years i found myself deppressed and lonely.I was drinking two bottles of wine a night, his family barely came to see us although they only lived up the road!!I tried hard to tell him i was not happy. He did not seem to notice. He was doing martial arts at the time and spent more time there than home!It was my daughters second birthday and he decided to go training.I had to get out of it ,i felt his family were beginning to bully me by comments. It was getting unbearable, so i made the decision to leave. He did not make it easy,he lied to social workers and police which is down on record as maliciouse. We have been back in Scotland for ten years and in those ten years he has been keeping in contact here and there via email and texts,my daughter had enough when about two years ago he invited her alone to his wedding! Then bombarded her with wedding photos and then pics of his new born son!!It was my daughters twelfth birthday the other week, he sent her a text two days late sayin happy birthday bab.At christmas and her birthday its a hit or miss.Through the years i have felt my daughters pain and i thought of it very hard for my daughter to tell her father that she wants him to back off until she is ready. But when she did ,his wife started to text my daughter saying You Are Not Going To Hurt Your Dad Anymore!!!!
