hi all my name is aileen i have just joined the site.  I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM anyone who has lost a child through having an asthma attack. last sept my gorgeous daughter kiera stewart aged 11 passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of an acute asthma attack.   Kiera had been diagnosed with asthma at around 2yrs she also had exzema and allergies, she really suffered with her skin and was in and out of hospital with chest probs. As she grew older her skin improved and her asthma seemed under control, she was quite active went to dnce classes rode her bike etc. she did all thse things day before she died she hadnt been ill it was just a normal day.  There is a lot of ignorance about the seriousness of asthma and i would like to try get the message across that it can be fatal and there are too many kids dying from it. docs told me kiera was rare because she hadnt been ill before she died it doesnt give me much comfort. i would like to share my story on the jeremy kyle show to if possible its too late for my kiera but if it helps even oe child/adult will be worth it.
