Written because of the ignorance of others as detailed today on the BBC.

My Parents and the State not doing anything to help me and living in denial about my ADHD caused:

Lonely Child
Angry Child
Frustrated Child
Embarrassed Child
8 or 9 Different Schools
Multiple Assaults on Peers
Multiple Assaults From Peers
8 Damaged Police Constables (2 ABH 1 GBH)
4 Damaged Police Officers Sergeant and Above (1 ABH 1 GBH)
Up to 500 Incidents of Criminal Damage
Up to 100 Trips to Casualty
A Wasted Education
A Wasted University Place
A Wasted IQ of 169 at age 9
15 Years of Alcoholism
8 Years of Unemployment

And the list goes on, and on!  I calculate that not acting when my condition was diagnosed has cost the State about £400,000.00 in Court time, Police time, Hospital time, repairing damage done, 13 years of wasted education etc etc.

When the State sells us short, they are so stupid as to believe they are saving money when it actually ends up costing a lot more and damages society socially!

Regards

Chris

P.S.
How on earth would these "Community Support Officers" have coped when it always took 5 coppers to arrest me! At only 5 feet 7 inches tall they were unafraid and over confident because I have not got ADHD on my forehead....I would have ended up doing life if these current numpties had been around when I was younger.
