hi.

As a male survivour of dv it sickens me to the back teeth how men are constantly portrayed as perpetrators of dv and women as victims.

Why are there over 400 refuges for women, yet less than20 for male victims? why is it that a national newspaper runs lock em up campaigns for male perpetrators, yet dismisses dv committed by it's female editor (rebekah wade)on her male partner as a 'silly domestic that got out of hand' and her partner was pilliored as a 'fairy' (tough guy ross kemp)if it was the other way round then the entire massed bands of whiches aid would be going ballistic, yet as it's a male victim they remain strangely quiet.  Female violence is on the increase, yet feminist organisations like w aid still put over that dv is gender biased.

Lets make dv a social issue, and end the bias that it's a gender issue.

I agree, myself I'm a survivor of dv, and it is sickening that men are portrayed as instigators. There are men out there who are ashamed to admit that they are the victims of domestic violence.
